How to Build a Survival Shelter with Three Trees: The Ultimate Guide
In an emergency situation, it is important to know how to build a survival shelter. This can provide you with protection from the elements and help keep you warm. In this blog post, we will teach you how to build a shelter using three trees.
To cut down the trees, you will need an axe or a saw. If you have neither of these tools, you can use your hands to snap the tree branches. Once you have the trees, you will need to cut them into logs. The logs should be about six feet long.
Once you have the logs, you will need to find two more trees that are close together. These trees will be used to support the logs. Place the logs on top of the two trees and tie them together using rope or vines. Using the first tree as a base, build the other two trees into an A-frame. The trees should be big enough so that you can fit comfortably inside of them. The shelter should be about six feet tall and eight feet wide. Once you have found the right trees, use ropes or vines to tie them together. Make sure the knots are secure. The opening of the A-frame should be facing away from the wind.
Now that you have your frame built, it is time to add some insulation. You can use leaves, bark, or anything else you can find to help insulate the shelter. Once you have added the insulation, cover the frame with a tarp or other waterproof material. This will help keep you warm and dry. If you have a mosquito net, you can also use it to cover the opening of the shelter.
If you are in a cold climate, you may also want to build a fire inside of your shelter. Make sure the fire is in a safe place and that the smoke is going up and not into the shelter. To build a fire inside of your shelter, you will need to make a small hole in the top of the shelter. This will allow the smoke to escape. A fire will also allow you to cook food if you didn't bring a portable stove.
Next, use leaves, branches, and other natural materials to create a shelter roof. Be sure to make it as waterproof as possible. If you have a tarp or some other type of waterproof material, use that instead.
By following these steps, you can build a survival shelter using only three trees. This shelter will provide you with protection from the elements and help keep you warm.
